giveArtfully.com accepts artist submissions on a rolling basis

Seeking professional artists (fine art and fine craft, 2D and 3D) for representation on giveArtfully.com.

Our mission is to offer high-quality handmade works of art to our discriminating clients by providing the ease and convenience of an online gallery, backed by first-class customer service. In this process, we create a place where our clients become engaged in the arts, support arts-related nonprofits (a portion of each sale is donated to a specific organization), and develop their appreciation for technique and craftsmanship.

Designed as a boutique online gallery, giveArtfully.com will limit the number of individuals represented, which means that our artists can be assured their work will get noticed. The artists selected will be those that meet our requirements for business experience and whose work exemplifies our standards of quality.

We are interested in receiving submissions from artists with the following attributes:

• Minimum five years professional arts experience, particularly wholesale. Those artists that make it through the first review cycle may be asked to provide two letters of recommendation from colleagues with whom they have had a business relationship.
• Daily access to phone and email, as most order correspondence will be via email
• Ability to create unique works that celebrate milestones and special events
• Residence in the US

Submissions in either or both of the following categories is requested:

• Extant: Items that come from an established line of work (examples of which can be featured on the website and be ready to ship when order is placed), and
• Commission: Creating custom items by a specific deadline, according to guidelines developed through a client questionnaire about details of the artwork.

In your submission package, please include:

• Images (5-10) of current work you think would fit our mission and corresponding image description and identification list with retail prices. Please send only high-resolution JPG images on a CD; no slides.
• Current resume and/or biography (hard copy and on CD with images)
• Artist statement (hard copy and on CD with images
• Cover letter, briefly explaining how you think your work would fit our mission. If applicable, include a brief proposal of how you could customize some or all of your work for the recipient, including works purchased: for special occasions (birthday, anniversary) or holidays; to celebrate special events (graduation, wedding, housewarming, new baby) or milestones (personal or professional) or to commemorate an individual (recognition awards, memorials), and gifts of appreciation.
• SASE (No. 10 business size envelope) for response. CDs will not be returned. Submissions will be lightly juried, and you may expect a reply within thirty days. Any enclosure that is printed, please also burn a copy of onto the CD.
